Citizen
A citizen sleeps at night, and by day talks and votes. Their goal is for the town to banish all the mafia.
Logic and words are your only weapons
- At night
- You sleep: no night abilities.
- Goal
- Banish all the mafia by voting.
- Tip
- Watch who votes against whom: everyone can see the vote list.
In short
- At night you sleep: no night actions, and you neither see nor hear what others do.
- By day you listen to the speeches, speak on your turn and vote.
- The town wins when all the mafia are banished.
- “The town” is the whole team: citizen, sheriff, doctor and prostitute.
A citizen is an ordinary resident of the town, with no special abilities. At night the other roles wake in turn and do their things, while you sleep and don't see them.
Don't mix up the two terms. “Citizen” is a role with no abilities. “The town” (the townspeople) is the whole team: citizen, sheriff, doctor and prostitute. All of the town share the same goal.
By day everything is decided by words and votes.
- Listen to the speeches: each living player gets the floor in turn.
- In your speech you can nominate one player for the vote (with a live host, the host can do it too).
- Then you vote against one of the nominees.
A citizen has nothing but attention. Notice who defends whom, who stays quiet, who votes against whom. Everyone sees the vote list.
