What happens if you don't manage to vote

Whoever hasn't voted by the end of voting gets a random vote against one of the candidates, usually not against themselves.

In short

  • Voting is limited in time and closes when time runs out or everyone has voted.
  • Whoever had the right to vote but didn't gets a vote against a random candidate.
  • If you're a candidate yourself, the random vote goes against another candidate; against you only when there are no others.
  • Nobody nominated — voting simply closes, with no random votes.
  • A random vote counts as a real one and can decide the result.

What it's for. So the game doesn't freeze if someone walks away from the screen. When voting closes, everyone who had the right to vote but didn't gets a vote at random. You can't abstain: there's no blank ballot.

Who it concerns. Only those who had the right to vote. A dead player, one blocked by the prostitute, the host and an observer get nothing.

If you're nominated yourself, the random vote goes against another candidate, because you can't vote against yourself. It goes against you only when there are no other candidates.

If everyone votes earlier, voting closes early and there are no random votes. The same if the host stopped the voting manually. There isn't much time: the room owner sets it.
