Chaos time: free talk
Chaos time is a short free talk for all the living players at once: it comes in the morning, before the speeches, and only from day 2.
In short
- Chaos time is when all the living talk without taking turns while a countdown runs.
- It comes in the morning, after the night summary and before the speech round.
- It starts on day 2. Day 1 has none: everyone speaks in turn and tells about themselves.
- A player blocked by the prostitute stays muted in chaos time too.
- The room owner can switch chaos time off in the settings.
An ordinary day goes in this order:
- the night summary;
- with the automatic host, if someone was killed at night, the victim's last word;
- chaos time (optional);
- the speech round;
- nominating candidates and voting.
In chaos time the microphones of all the living players are open, so you can talk without taking turns: share suspicions, catch people out, argue. When the countdown is over, the microphones go off and the speech round begins.
Why not from the first day. The first day is the getting-acquainted day: everyone says in turn who they are and what their story is. Free talk for everyone at once gets in the way. That's why on day 1 there's no chaos time, with either the automatic host or a live host. It appears from day 2.
Who runs it.
- With the automatic host, chaos time starts by itself and lasts the whole allotted time. It ends early if all the living players press “Enough talking”.
- With a live host, the host starts chaos time himself and can stop it early.
The room owner sets the length.
